The Cocoon High Chair

One thing nobody tells you when you’re pregnant with your first child is that your child’s high chair will get DIRTY. I mean very, very dirty and all that extra cozy, multiple layers of padding to keep your baby nice and comfortable will be impossible to get clean.

So with my second child, I threw out my old high chair and set out to find one that checked off all my must haves in a chair that my first one majorly disappointed me with.

That is when I fell upon the Oribel Cocoon High Chair.

I was initially drawn to its sleek, modern design. It comes in four different colors all with a white, clean looking base and legs. I chose the pistachio color shown here! But it also comes in an adorable blue, pink, and gray option. The colored pad is a durable foam pad with no extra hidden crevices or food collecting spots! This was exactly what I was looking for.

The design is extremely easy to clean with a simple wipe down. I repeat, no hidden spots to find food collecting and no layers of padding to try to get clean! The tray comes with a detachable top to easily toss it in your sink for easy cleaning as well!

My main goal was to find an easy to clean chair which the Oribel high chair crossed that off immediacy but what I didn’t expect to love was everything else it has to offer!

The high chair comes with two different types of trays, one full eating tray with a center support, as well as a unique snack and cup holder tray! The snack tray as I call it is perfect for on the go toddlers or to set your self feeding baby up in a safe spot while you make dinner!

Both trays are simple to interchange and can be removed and attached with just one hand. The large tray can be magnetically attached to the back of the chair for easy storing and a great space storing mechanism.

The chair is easy to fold to put away when not in use and has two large front wheels for easy movements. Another thing I hated with my other chair was the wheel lock mechanism. It always got caught and made it difficult to move. With the Oribel, there is no wheel lock because the back two legs do not have wheels creating its own self stopping mechanism!

Now one of the most unique and incredible features of the Oribel Coccoon chair is that the entire seat reclines! It has three reclining positions: 30°, 60°, and a full 90° recline! One huge thing I didn’t realize when I was a first time mom, is the need for a safe place to put your baby in every room. This resulted in me purchasing little chairs that I kept on the floor in my kitchen to be able to set the baby down while I made lunch or washed dishes. My home became cluttered SO fast! With the recline option with the Oribel chair, I would have a cozy, SAFE, place to set my newborn down right in any room.

If you are on the hunt for a multipurpose, easy to clean, and beautiful looking high chair the Oribel Cocoon chair is definitely your perfect high chair! It is also significantly cheaper than your average modern high chairs making this a win!
